Yeah, I've got a couple questions. We may soon be affiliating with Taco Johns (which means big $$ ), so I'm thinking of saving up CAC's money for a good machine gun, idealy a M249 or M60. Otherwise just a high ROF AEG rifle with a C-mag will do. Anyway, is there a way we could somehow mount one on the back of this thing, and have a place for the gunner to stand/sit at? That would be awesome, please try and make something like that if you can. Second thing, how big's the engine and how much power/speed do you expect it to put out? Lastly, it'd be great if you could take a couple pictures of the plans/progress and post them here. Thanks.

If we can't get an M60 right away, never fear, my FA-MAS is here! If I get to ride the buggy, I'll let it stay mounted as long as possible. Hard to beat 1000 RPM.

That would be really nice Demo, CAC would probably just get a C-mag for that then, know anywhere that sells one? I'm thinking of maybe making a little stand for the MG to rest on, with some carpet or foam padding, a bit like this- Sorry it's so small, I don't know why photobucket downsized it...

The only problem I can forsee there is nothing is physically holding the gun in place. Meaning, with a sharp turn or the like, the gun could slide out of the mount.

True, but it's actually more of a rest than a mount. So if the gun falls, chances are the gunner is too, and I hope that no one's going to be driving like that. That's the problem we've got, I'd also like to have something that holds it in place, but can have the gun removed quickly, and something that doesn't require doing much modding to the gun. Any suggestions?

Well, I was thinking along the lines of a tank, meaning the gunner would have a backup gun or pistol, and the MG would be based inside of a shield.

ok heres the deals mates the engine is a snowmobile engine unsure of its enourmous power yet but it will be sweet its going to look like a dune buggy so its probadly going to have space for side people and possible a back mount i just got another AK-47 tatical so that will be the small mount gun that ill put on the left side if anyone wants to take there gun i can make a temp mount that you can attach it then when you get off yank it off the mount and return to your battle but CAC001 if you could hook me up with some ply would and some old carpet we can staple the carpet to the ply wood and fit it to the side spaces and ill try and get grill steel it that area in time and weld that in so you can stand on it and for this "tank" idea i might be getting a rocket launcher attachment for my ak47 later on maybe early next year so i can start designing for an over coating of this "dunn buggy" and make it the CAC tank but thatll take some time and lots of welding so that might be a tank of 07'

make it the CAC tank but thatll take some time and lots of welding so that might be a tank of 07' Meh, personally I think a dune buggy would be good enough. The tank would take too much time and materials, and make transporting people complicated. Also, I just had the idea that we could spray paint it in a desert tiger stripe pattern, like I did to my shotgun, just to make it look cool. Here's some pics if you haven't seen- www.cheyenneairsoft.proboards74.com/index.cgi?board=custom&action=display&thread=1154837328. Again, I'd really like to see some pics .
