The Neonfire Navy Commando M4 was my first full size electric airsoft gun. This is a picture of it-
This is my very first airsoft guide, so here goes...
There are a few easy things that you need to do first.
1. Lay down the gun so it's right side is facing up.
2. Take off the carrying handle, top half of foregrip, and take out the battery.
2. Extend the stock, then remove all screws, there should be 17 (13 medium sized, 1 small, and 1 big screw). A tip when removing screws, put them in some order that you'll remember which screw goes where when you put the gun back together, I put all of the screws in a flat place, in the same places that they were in on the gun, so it's like a scaled connect-the-dots picture of the gun.
3. Take out magazine release button by removing the screw on piece A, then piece B will be on the other side of the gun (see second picture).
The gun should now look like this-
These are the parts in step 3-
Next, take off the butt pad part of the stock. I took the nut off with the ^ shaped lever, then I pulled out the screw with my fingers while sliding the butt pad off of the rest of the stock.
The tube you slid the butt pad off of should come off with some wiggling and pulling.
Now the back end of the gun should look like this-
It's just like the M16 Freedom Fighter, Neonfire just puts a different stock on the M4.
Now there's two parts that take some force to get off, these-
All you need to do is pull the front one off, but the back one you need to twist around, then once you hear a couple cracks, pull it really hard and it'll snap off.
Now the front of the gun should look like this-
All you have to do now is start pulling the gun apart and lift off the top half and it's done! You can do whatever repairs or modifications you want to now, then just put the two halves back together and follow all the steps backwards to get your gun back together.
Here's the gun taken apart-
Everything-
And then, put back together-
I hope this guide helped you and that everything goes well with your rifle.
