Hey I thought it would be interesting to know what movies. books and tv shows about the military you liked. I personally like the show The Unit on channel five on tuesdays at 8. really realistic. based on the book inside Delta force which I also have read. just wondering what you guys liked.

I've never heard of that show. I like 'Mail Call' on the History Channel for the show, Semper Fi as a book, and We Were Soldiers and BHD for movies. Those are my favorites coming to mind.

yeah im watching it right now. i also watched over there during the summer. itwas ok. movie wise i agree with you except for my all time favorite movie is Black Hawk Down

Oh yeah, forgot about that movie. And another is G.I. Jane, I don't like the theme of the movie, just the scenes of SEALS training.

T.V. show: Over There or The Unit

Vietnam Book: Charlie Mike. havent read we were soldiers
World War II book: Flags of our Fathers
Modern warfare videogame: Delta Force Black Hawk Down, America's Army or Ghost Recon 2, or Operation flashpoint elite
Vietnam video game: Men of Valor
World War II video game: Brothers In Arms road to hill 30 and Brothers in Arms earned in blood

Ah yes. We Were Soldiers is probably my favorite movie. I think it was a very good and gritty movie, and not a 'hollywood fluff' coated movie. I might be wrong though, but that's just my opinion.
