Has anyone here seen the new special forces M-14 rifle they are using in Iraq and afghanistan. It is a shortened version I hear. I will try to find a picture later. But it is totally customzable like the M4

Yeah, I've read a little about it in my book about the USMC, 'Semper Fi'. It's an awesome book. Here's one of the two pictures in it of what it calls the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) M14- It says that it began to be field tested in Afghanistan in January 2002.

TINY!! How in the world is that thing tiny? Prove to me whats bigger on the M-14 before you can tell me that that Barret .50 cal is smaller that the M-14!

Ooops, I thought the whole rifle was 29" long, but it's just talking about the barrel, lol. Sorry, but yeah, I'm more used to the Barret M82 that you have in your profile pic.

hehe M82 it is just useless in airsoft thats why I am getting a L96 then putting the rest of my money on a car

Is there a difference between the M14 SOCOM and SOC16?
