Well, as most of you know, CAC only has a small, hardly functional field at the moment. There's one place where we could temporarily put up a field, on the North side of my property, near where the horse pasture starts. I say temporarily because it will soon be used as a little pasture for our stud, I'm not sure when but probably within a month or so. So the first purpose of this thread is for suggestions on where/what the field could be. The second purpose is to suggest ways to make bunkers and build obstacles.

hey CAC001 i heard the cops are going softer in lions park this year so i was going to ask if you wanted a set up in lions park they have a big feild we can play on but we'd have to set up some barriers and i can get a permit to control this area of lions park for free from what iv heard so if you want i can talk to the cops and get a permit there to set up and play we'd have somewhat of a big feild then

That would be awesome. As for bunkers, we could make them out of PVC with plywood, like a frame with the wooden boards leaned against it, for quick assembly/dissembly.

exactly and people can come early for setup like me sence i live right across the street so all i have to do is go to the police station and get my permit for any day and we might be able to have like a public airsoft war. (public) only because theres still going to be like people around near the beach but they wont be close enough to get it so ill ask my mom to see if i can actually do all this im sure i can.

You better get more info first though, before we seriously consider that idea. I mean, no offense, but it's just that we'll be running around in some public field with guns that look very real. Also, about half of us have guns without orange tips, so if you go into the police station to ask questions or whatever, could you ask what Wyoming's/Cheyenne's rules are on black tipped airsoft guns. I know there are some states that allow it, and since Wyoming's one of the most free states in the US, maybe they let you paint the tips black. And yeah, DL, I was thinking about using PVC too. Not necessarily plywood too though, how would we mount it onto the pipes? I was thinking maybe tarp, but that will only last so long. I'm open to all ideas though.

...that's only what your mom says. I'm 99% sure it's perfectly legal for us to own airsoft guns, we just can't buy any. Stupid beurocracy...

I'm open to all ideas though. Well, I'm implying that bunkers would have to be simple three or four wall bunkers with no topping, and the boards are simply leaned against the PVC framing. I'll try and diagram it up sometime.

i too feel that the Bunkers should be easy to Assemble/Disassemble like 3 or 4 pieces of like fence wood with some screws in them to hold them up and lean some bigger pieces of plywood on them. Stinger and i made a couple of makeshift bunkers that really worked so i can do a rough draw up of them and the materials.

Today Matt, Jimmy and I worked on a foxhole (which didn't get too far...), but I think that's also a good idea for the field, a few foxholes. We had one in the old field, and it was pretty cool.

ya most people don't go around the area it has trees and a dirt path between both sides that we can play on but the people who come by as long asa we all stop shooting while they pass or play then we are just fine.
