Bug out bags?

Does anyone else have a BOB that they've assembled for SHTF situations? A BOB, as defined by Wikipedia, is

a portable kit containing all of the items one would require to survive for seventy two hours after evacuating from a disaster. It is also known as a 72hr kit, emergency kit and disaster supplies kit.

I made one last week, but there are still several things I still want to put into it. I'll post up a picture and kitlist soon, probably once I get some of those wanted items.

So yeah, that's about it. I'm still looking to get a machete and probably a better compass. I should be purchasing a Glock 22 pistol soon as well. If I missed anything, I'm sorry. Please leave any questions, comments, or suggestions!

I don't mean to sound pushy or anything but, you will get tired of carrying a decent machete. that and the survival bolos can't withstand much impact. From personal experience, if the bag feels the slightist bit hefty it will not be pleasent to carry around. Also, if it is for wyoming I would suggest a compact wind breaker, a minimum of 4 fire starters, and a space blanket.

Is that canteen all tin? Is that cup fold under? If it does will you email Nathan B.

Yeah I think the canteen is tin, and yes that cup has a folding handle.
