Well my email's been acting up lately, and of course it does when I try to send you the info. I'll just post it here, instead of emailing it. Sorry.
Below are the airsoft play/safety rules that are in our rules, for other rules we have, and to see the source, go to
www.cheyenneairsoftcombat.bravehost.com/cacrom.html.
Behavior- The game of airsoft revolves around honesty. It may be easy to just not call a hit, or try to ignore feeling hits, but that is not how airsoft is played. Think about how mad you get when you shoot someone and they ignore the hit. If you can’t be honest and call ALL hits, then you do not belong at CAC. Honest people make airsoft a much better and more enjoyable activity.
Airsoft should be an enjoyable experience. Come in a good mood, and ready to have fun. Rude actions will not be tolerated. Two behavioral warnings will be issued. The third time we have to correct you, you will be ejected from the premises, and a way home will be your own responsibility.
If you are ejected twice, and are a member of CAC, you will be removed from the roster. You can rejoin with the default fee of $5, but will start at the rank of Private.
If you are ejected three times, you will be removed from the CAC roster, and will be banned from accessing the premises or rejoining.
Profanity. Occasional swearing will be allowed, as it is understandable. But excessive swearing, or swearing in front of CAC authority as a response will not be allowed. Repeated swearing in excess will be treated with the same warnings and consequences as behavioral matters.
CAC commanding officers reserve their right to subdue and restrain combatants acting out of line. If you don't respect us, we won't respect you.
If attitude is SEVERELY below standards, and has become hostile, the police will be phoned for escort off of CAC premises, and the combatant will be permanently banned from any further access to CAC premises.
Safety-Safety is the most important matter of Airsoft to CAC. Please keep all firearms on safe until the combat has begun. The safety itself, however, isn't the most reliable line of defense to weapon accidents. Keep your finger along the side of the gun, off of the trigger. Never point your firearm at something you don't want to shoot. Guns should never be fired outside of combat or target practice. Eye protection, in the form of shooting, paintball, or airsoft approved eye protection, will be required on the field at ANY time, even when there is no combat. If your eye protection is refused by CAC staff, then you must wear another form of goggles or glasses. Face masks are recommended, and if someone irresponsibly removes their mask during engagement should not hold others accountable for their negligence.
About MEDs. CAC has minimum engagement distance (MED) rules. You cannot shoot your opponent with any airsoft gun while within 3 feet of him/her. Here’s a chart of MED rules-
Weapon | FPS | MED |
Spring | 330 or under | 3 Feet |
Spring | 331-400 | 10 Feet |
Semi-Automatic | 330 or under | 5 Feet |
Semi-Automatic | 331-400 | 10 Feet |
Fully Automatic | 330 or under | 5 Feet |
Fully Automatic | 331-400 | 15 Feet |
Note: weapons over 400 FPS are not allowed to be used on CAC grouds. 400 FPS is considered overkill, and has no purpose except to harm others. MED rules do not apply in buildings, at which times you should either aim lower at the legs when shooting, or take out your secondary weapon.
Safety and attitude go hand in hand. Never use your weapon in any fashion to release anger towards someone else. This includes melee use of your weapon, waving around your weapon, pointing your weapon at someone outside of the battlefield, and throwing your weapon/magazine.
